With its supercar projects from the Frankfurt Motor Show still fresh, the latest tuning goodies from Mansory strike us as being extremely discrete, almost bland. However, Maserati's smallest and probably sexiest machine just received a boost in power and appeal!
70 more horsepower doesn't sound like a lot for a performance sedan, but the Ghibli's engines were already tuned by Ferrari fellows. That's why Mansory could only boost the output to 480 PS and 640 Nm of torque (410 PS and 550 Nm in standard form).

That mod is reserved for the twin-turbo V6 that burns gasoline. However, knowing some of their European customers like diesels, Mansory also played with the more frugal Ghibli model, boosting it to 310 PS and 680 Nm (from 275 PS and 600 Nm).

This tuning package is so subtle that it makes us wonder if the previous designers who worked for Mansory weren't fired. At the front, we get a subtle spoiler with a couple of vertical blades. Optionally, you can also install trim pieces that make the bumper side intakes look a little bigger.

At the rear, there's a new diffuser that's been recessed into the bumper and four new exhaust tips with a subtle pipe cut at the end. The design of the pipes and the diffuser remind us of the Audi S3 sedan. Just how subtle has Mansory become?

This power is applied to the road by brand-new Trident design Mansory alloy wheels sized 9.5x22 inches at the front and 10.5x22 inches at the rear. These are dressed in performance tires from Vredestein size 255/30R22 and 295/25R22, respectively. Alternatively, the company offers forged wheels in dimensions as small as 20 inches.

In the interior department, the tuning company has created "a command and control center that perfectly combines functionality and comfort." And guess what? They aren't showing it!

The Ghibli's carefully crafted interior made of fine leather and… luxury can be amplified using a fine wood finish or the Mansory carbon material on request. Precisely stitched logos and illuminated door sills round off the refinement program, just like we've seen from every major tuning company in the past decade.
