Ever felt like you were part of an old school Wild West duel whenever you took your car in for its periodic safety inspection? Well, I know only some of the states in the USA require such tests but in Europe, they are mandatory in nearly every country.
Once a year or every two years, the cars have to be taken in for check-ups and if something’s not right, the right to use it on public roads can be suspended for a period of time. Usually, it’s until you solve the problem.
Well, the Germans have Dekra testing your car, it’s a company that is specialized in this sort of things and it looks like Martin Tomczyk might have a problem trying to get his DTM BMW M4 through the inspection cleanly.
Of course, it’s all just a fun video, one that definitely has an old-school vibe to it, but it’s hilarious how everyone is portrayed in it. It feels like Martin is the newcomer in a Wild West town and he enters a bar only to find some villains there.
In the end, the new bad guy in town ends up tearing the place down and writing a huge red X on the forehead of the biggest, baddest villain of them all, the man responsible for his test result. And yes, what Martin writes down on his inspection sheet does make sense: See you at the race track!
That’s where the DTM version of the M4 belongs and not on public roads as it would definitely terrify other traffic participants. Now, let’s see the car (and man) in action!
