What do you do when you own a Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard? Since such an armored Merc is rather important for your daily transportation needs, you’re probably going to have its cabin customized, because enjoying ultra-lavish experiences behind all those protective layers doubles the exquisite feeling.
Russian tuner TopCar provides an example as good as any, offering us a bespoke cabin treatment for an S600 Guard customer from the Middle East. Understandably, the owner wanted to turn the cabin into an Arabian story, hence the sand-like hue of the trim, which, by the way, uses Karelian birch.

Oh and let’s not forget about the messages on the roofliner and the area above the glovebox. If any of you can help with the translation, feel free to do so in the comments section below.

According to the tuning house, the customer’s aim was to “observe the fine line, when a bold design decision does not turn into something that’s vulgar or shocking.”

The dominant color here is the Emerald-inspired Green, which was used for both Nappa leather and Alcantara. Speaking of leather, the tuner explains this wasn’t available in Russia, so they ordered specifically for this car from Europe.

The S-Class Guard

When it comes to the car itself, the S-Class Guard features a new type of steel sitting between the bodyshell and the outer panels of the car. Extra layers of aramide and polyethylene elements prevent the occupants from being hurt by fire and shrapnel. For the connoisseurs, we can mention the S-Class Guard offers VR7-level protection.

Since we’re talking about an S600, power comes from the same twin-turbo V12 delivering 530 hp and 612 lb-ft (830 Nm) of torque.

The thing even rides on bespoke Micheling PAX tires, which can run up to 30 km (19 miles) even after being damaged.

You ca get a pretty good look at this Arabian tale in the gallery below.
