Usually, Mercedes-Benz's association with the world of fashion is a necessary evil that never gives us anything other than quilted blankets for cars and random shots of long-legged models next to the SLS. But this year, things are a little different.
Not only have the Germans released a video that's hilarious to watch, but they also make fun of the fashion world and show a wonderful old concept many folks have forgotten about. The clip is titled "A Fistful of Wolves" and it features Justin O’Shea, buying director at online fashion store mytheresa.com, as well as the Chipperfield brothers and fashion editors Veronika Heilbrunner and Julia Knolle. It's been put together to promote the Fall/Winter 2015 edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin.

"Life is an adventure, like a line caught between two pandas, a deer in the headlights or a fistful of wolves. (?)" the bearded guy in the ad says. Have you ever heard anything so nonsensically amusing before?

"He is the cool one sporting a beard, a plethora of tattoos and the at characteristic furrowed brow. Born and bred in rural Austria, he spent his twenties down a mine, working side by side with his dad. She is the smart beauty from Munich with endless legs and winning smile who started out as a model,"
Mercedes dares to say about this young power-couple of the fashion world.

While Justin O’Shea talks about his feelings and the hype surrounding his work, we get to sample sights of the C111 concept car being driven though Berlin's Grunewald district.

This sexy golden beast likely came out of the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The C111 was actually a whole series of experimental automobiles built in the 60s and 70s with weird engines, including diesels and a four-rotor Wankel with 370 hp. Since this prototype belongs to the second series, it's likely motivated by a 190 hp diesel based on the 240D 3.0 W115 saloon.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
