There are two things Sheiks have in common with us car aficionados. They have a passion for the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG and they’re also into racing. OK, they’re more into racing horses than anything else, but you get the point. Nonetheless, it seems that there might just be a way to mix the two, as the UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister shows in the photo above.
Take a stroll through Dubai and you’ll quickly find out who Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum is - his face can bee seen on posters all across the city and people love him, since he is one of the forces behind Dubai’s transformation into a global city.

Like we said, the man is a massive G63 AMG fan, owning not one or two, but three examples of the Affalterbach-massaged Gelandewagen - vanity plates are obviously a big thing in Dubai and the Sheikh rolls around with “1” “11” and “5” - the basic rule over there is simple, the fewer the numbers, the greater the exclusivity.

While the man isn’t present in the pic above, his G63 AMG is and, as it turns out, the offroader is used to train one of the race horses that fuel his equestrian passion. Yes, just like the UAE’s VP and Prime Minister owns a massive garage, he has a racing stable and even runs a breeding operation that’s active in no less than six countries.

Perhaps the noble animal has learned to appreciate the characteristic growl of the G63 AMG.
