As Germany’s biggest fashion event returns to the renowned Branderburg Gate in Berlin to kick off its 16th season January 19-22, Mercedes-Benz is bringing out the big guns. The lifestyle branch of the German luxury car maker has just released their “Champions of Fashion” Autumn/Winter 2015 campaign video. The films stars Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, driving the company's stunners.
Since fashion means money and beauty, luxury car manufacturers are always chasing around international events. Moreover, Mercedes-Benz is one of the biggest sponsors in the line as they have been backing the Fashion Week events for years now. The affairs are currently held in Berlin, Miami, New York and other places in Australia and Istanbul.

Established fashion designers and young talent of the region will present their Autumn/Winter 2015 collections to an expert audience of buyers, press members and industry insiders. The tent at Brandenburg Gate will feature more than 50 designer’s collections this season. Since Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin is also supporting young, ambitious fashion labels, 11 designers will make their debut.

Yuhu, so many good news. What?

OK, maybe we were a bit overwhelmed by all this fashion stuff. Now, getting back to the video in question. Mercedes Formula1’s ace racers, newly-crowned World Champion Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg joined forces with stunning model Dree Hemingway to promote the company’s fashion campaign. But what probably makes this footage mesmerizing has not much to do with the people starring it, but rather with the cars present.

We’re looking at nothing other than the gorgeous Mercedes AMG GT and the iconic C111. While the first combines driving dynamics, agility and first-class racetrack performance with everyday practicability, the other contributed towards the rejuvenation of the brand’s style.

Turns out sometimes fashion really is able to connect with cars.
