She is mostly known as a fashion model, but we, petrol heads remember her as the 21-year old blond beauty that brought Slovenia’s first supercar to the world, the Tushek Renovatio. It seems once you step into the business of torque you never go back. At least that is the case for Harriadnie Beau who will unveil the latest restored Jensen FF, at this year’s NEC Classic Motor Show, in UK.
If you’re into older vehicles we’re pretty sure you’re going to read this one. The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show is UK’s biggest classic motor show and will take place this weekend. As part of the companies present at the event, Bavarez will have the young British model unveil “the latest magnificent and utterly unique Jensen FF, restored and re-engineered to be at the very top of real drivers’ and Jensen enthusiasts’ bucket list”.

Leaving all the marketing behind for a second, we though it would be nice to talk about both the models, the car and the fashion beauty.

The Jensen FF, was a four-wheel GT car manufactured by the British auto maker Jensen Motors between 1966 and 1971.

Now, one of the reasons this car is important to auto lovers is the fact it brought some ground-braking firsts to the industry. It was the first non all-terrain production car equipped with four-wheel drive and an anti-lock braking system - the Dunlop Maxaret mechanical system used hitherto only on aircraft, trucks and racing cars. The use of 4WD in a passenger car preceded the successful Audi Quattro by many years and the Subaru by five years.

As to the fashion babe, Harriadnie Beau was appointed brand ambassador to the Tushek T500, Slovenia’s first supercar. The car is built on the tubular chassis of another supercar you’ve probably never heard of, the K1 Attack from Slovakia. The body is carbon fiber and the engine is the 450 PS 4.2-liter V8 from Audi RS4.
