New Audi RS3 Gets Carbon Fiber and Alcantara Interior from Neidfaktor

This RS3 custom interior has everything, and we do mean everything. It doesn't border on overkill, it re-writes the book on the stuff, as there isn't a single piece of factory trim left intact. Carbon fiber has spread its sexy weave everywhere, like a weird skin condition that affects cars.

The RS3 is not what you'd call cheap. In fact, you probably can't leave an Audi dealership without paying €60,000 for a new one since the options are so expensive. However, somebody decided that wasn't enough and asked Neidfaktor to change everything.

Every time this German custom parts shop reveals something, we check it out. However, most of its stuff is for the RS6, RS7 and R8, which usually makes us wonder if Audi doesn't have an official version of the same carbon part. We're sure that's not the case with the brand new RS3, a hot hatch that's only been available for half a year.

The detailed photo gallery below is worth your time if you are a fan of fast Audis. The carbon fiber parts range from very small to huge and complex, such as the clamshell seat backs and center console. Even the handles have been touched by this miraculous weaved material.

The front seats also have new carbon fiber bases, while the handles that control height and longitudinal adjustment are covered in Alcantara.

Only high-end cars like Lamborghinis have leather dashboards and quilted headliners, but this RS3 has been spoiled. However, we're sure no supercar comes with quilted Alcantara parcel shelf with red contrast stitching… because supercars don't have parcel shelves.

For the record, we think this refurbished RS3 is absurd. The only thing missing is a gold engine heat shield, and you have a Brabus. But it proves there is a loyal Audi fan somewhere in Germany who prefers the RS3 over any Mercedes or Porsche. Crazy? Maybe, but so is stuffing a 2.5-liter engine inside a VW Golf platform.
