The company that makes what we petrolheads refer to as Godzilla just unveiled an extremely limited edition of the Nissan GT-R. Dubbed the 45th Anniversary, this bad boy was released in conjunction with the JDM-spec 2015 Nissan GT-R and a Nismo-fied track-focused GT-R Track Edition model.
Regarding that 45th Anniversary car, Nissan has garnished the limited-run model with a paint job called Silica Brass, the same hue they’ve used for the R34 Skyline M-Spec from 2001. Offered in Premium Edition specification only, Nissan is going to build only 45 units of the thing for its home market.
The Nissan GT-R 45th Anniversary also boasts with an exclusive emblem on the lower part of the interior center cluster, joined by a serialized plate in the engine compartment. This limited-run model doesn’t benefit from any changes over the JDM 2015 GT-R.
As for pricing, 10,787,040 yen converted to dollars translates to approximately $91,400. Aside from the 45th Anniversary, Nissan of Japan also introduced the 2015 GT-R, with minimal enhancements over the 2014. Improvements were made to the vehicle's driving comfort, without any hike in power output.
It’s not known if the Japan-spec 2015 Nissan GT-R will arrive in the US as a 2016 model. It would be a shame if it didn’t though because those new headlights are really gorgeous. Check them out below.

The 2015 Nissan GT-R also promises “better handling stability than ever before"
The company goes on by saying the better handling will permit "the driver to trace the desired driving line with unmatched precision.” Redesigned flywheel housing bearings, an uprated engine control unit and new dampers are also on the menu. Last but not least, the Dunlop run-flat tires have been revised for better ride quality on rough roads, as well as a little more stability when traveling at high speed. It’s not known if the Japan-spec 2015 Nissan GT-R will arrive in the US as a 2016 model.
