Nissan GT-R Needs Pushing As It Gets Trapped in Canadian Snowstorm

It puzzles us how many drivers still believe winter tires are optional, as if they were a pair of cupholders. Nonetheless, winter itself is not really impressed with their foolishness and doesn't miss any opportunity to offer these people a lesson. The fresh, cold example of this comes from Canada, where a Nissan GT-R has had to bow before a snowstorm, all due to its driver's ignorance. Especially until the current R35 generation, Godzilla has mainly built its name on its all-too-wise ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system, but a set of summer performance tires is enough to counterbalance the sharp Japanese engineering. Intelligent differentials or advanced computerized management have no power in a world without grip. The driver of the GT-R was trying to get the supercar up a small slope and, as you'll be able to see in the clip below, it all ended up in one embarrassing drive. While less gifted cars, such as a front-wheel drive Chevrolet make it through the snow covering the inclined road slowly but steadily, the Nissan just can't go anywhere. A waste of... everything
The polite nature of the Canadians shines through once again, with two good Samaritans trying to push the ailing supercar. The result? Even more embarrassment.

Aside from not gifting his GT-R with winter rubber, the driver didn't seem to be among the most skilled supercar drivers out there. A bit too throttle-happy at times or applying steering angle when he shouldn't, this guy still has some learning to do before he can cover the... basics.

For one thing, given the nature of the situation, we shouldn't be able to hear the GT-R's exhaust roar and yet the driver feeds the car enough revs to allow us to do just that.

Perhaps letting some air out of tires would've done the trick, but then again that would mean even more trouble afterwards. Oh well, at least the guy pushing the GT-R by it's spoiler doesn't seem to have damaged the car.
