We're kind of a day late for throwback Thursday, but we're pretty sure nobody is going to mind a video unlike any other, where a funny car is trying to drive normally on snow. Why? Because racecar.
The thing with funny cars is that they're built from tubes and fiberglass, so they're not actually related to any road car. But this one is bodied to look a bit like an Corvette, so for the duration of this article, we'll just call it a 'Vette.

We have no idea what this driver is trying to prove. Last time we checked, racing slicks weren't available with a winter compound, so the chances of crashing this are very high. Remember, these monsters are specifically designed for maximum acceleration in a straight line on perfectly dry and sticky roads.

Funny cars are very popular in the Southern parts of America, where it almost never snows. So what the heck is happening here? The video description is in Norwegian and says this was filmed on Christmas Eve in 2009. So there's a high chance we're looking at a racing machine from Northern Europe.

Believe it or not, high octane dragsters are extremely popular in Scandinavia. There are many funny car and stock car clubs, plus quite a few tracks. Finland has the Alastaro circuit, followed by Mantorp Park in Sweden and Gardermoen Raceway here in Norway, where the clip is shot.
