For the 2016 model year of the smallest Range Rover version in the lineup, tuning company Overfinch decided to apply its stylistic signature and a bespoke color coding program. The Evoque is very pretty as is, but who says no to a program that further enhances the design language of an already beautiful machine?
In typical Overfinch fashion, the British specialist didn’t go overboard with the visual updates. The most dramatic enhancement is an aggressive front bumper-air dam combo complemented by Stealth Black lettering, an Overfinch front grille, and side vents. The 22-inch Sentinel wheels might not be to everyone’s taste, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, isn’t it?
If that’s not enough to float your tuning boat, Overfinch can go a step further with the Range Rover Evoque by adorning it with a diffuser at the rear, machined aluminum exhaust tips, as well an 18k gold tailgate lettering with black enamel inlays.
As far as the interior is concerned, the most over-the-top treatment available is Bridge of Weir premium leather painted in Valencia Orange, piano black veneer, luxury carpet mats, and a sports instrument cluster.
From diamond stitch upholstery with perforations to the classy two-tone with piping, anything and everything is possible. With prices starting at £49,990 ($74,345 at the current exchange rates; including the vehicle), the Overfinch Range Rover Evoque easily exceeds the one hundred grand mark if you go for all the bells and whistles presented above. But then again, an Evoque with the Overfinch touch will hold its value better than a standard Evoque.
Performance mods aren’t available, which means that the most capable Overfinch Range Rover Evoque can be had with a 2-liter turbocharged inline-4 with 240 horsepower and 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) of torque, coupled to a slick 9-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system. In this configuration, 60 mph (96 km/h) comes in 7.1 seconds and the top speed is 135 mph (217 km/h).
