The Lamborghini Aventador's popularity hasn't diminished with age. Even though the supercar's tech side is a little dated compared even to the Huracan, people still turn their heads when they see one.
The latest and greatest edition is the LP 750-4, an all-mighty SuperVeloce that set a blisteringly fast lap around the Nurburgring. There's only going to be 500 of those and Lamborghini has already sold each and every one of them.

However, those with a slightly longer memory span might remember there was a tuned version of the V12 supercar that rose to notoriety back in 2012. We're talking about the 2nd of 10 Lamborghini Aventador LP760-4 Dragon Editions, painted in Bianco Monocerus.

It's not that well known, so we were surprised to see that a Japanese scale model company made a 1:18 replica. MR Collection looked at everything that made Oakley's creation great and replicated it all on a minute scale, including the carbonium roof, side mirrors and rear wing. The interior features a combination of white and black, while the replica sits on an individual red Alcantara base.

Only 10 of these scale models will ever be built, and when you consider each one costs €469, you begin to wonder who could afford them. I think the owner of 1:1 scale machine would be a good candidate.

The Dragon Edition comes from Refined Marques and Oakley Design. The owner is said to be Hussam Maatouk of the Luxury Signatures exclusive dealership in Qatar. Considering we're talking about a 760 horsepower machine, it's hard not to treat it with respect.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
