If you’re a fan of the Lycan Hypersport, the car that starred in Furious 7, then you’ll love its younger and meaner brother too. The Fenyr Supersport is the newest model from W Motors, and one is now for sale at a specialized dealership.
The exterior is made out of carbon fiber to keep its weight to a minimum and it was also a little bit improved for a lower drag coefficient. Thanks to its lightweight aluminum chassis, the car weighs only 1,200 kg.
The Fenyr is powered by a monster engine developed together with RUF Automotive Germany, the company that builds some insane versions of Porsche’s sports cars. It is a twin-turbo flat-six, 4.0-liter power unit that generates 900 horsepower and 1,400 Nm (1,032 lb-ft) of torque.
Thanks to its incredible power-to-weight ratio, the vehicle goes from a standstill to 100 km/h in less than 2.7 seconds and has a maximum speed of 400 km/h. All these figures are currently on paper because not even a testing video with this hypercar has been posted yet.
As you would have expected, the car will be a limited edition, with only 25 Fenyr Supersport being made. The price is still unknown, but we expect it to be more expensive than the Lycan, which costs around $3,4 million. We say this because this latest model is a more powerful and improved version of the car that caught everyone’s attention in Furious 7, according to Al Ain Class Motors.
W Motors introduced the model in a unique way, stating in the press release that we would have to sell everything we have and buy the Fenyr Supersport.
The car’s name is inspired after the most aggressive and vicious wolf in mythology. The only thing we are now expecting is a video footage of the car to see if the “earth shook violently, trees were uprooted, mountains felt and all binds snapped- Fenyr is free” description is entirely true.
