Audi TT Coupe Covered in 27,000 Chocolates in Belgium

There used to be a special color you could order on some Audi models that was called "Hot Chocolate", but we never thought somebody would literally cover a TT coupe in actual chocolate. And yet that's exactly what we are looking at. You know what? It a good look for the young German two-door. This project could only come from Belgium, a country famous across the world for the quality of its sweets. This industry dates back to the 17th century and forms a very important part of this small country's economy. Around 2,000 companies export 172 thousand tons of chocolate sweets, so the TT is but a drop in an ocean of culinary delights. As part of an exposition taking place at the 2014 Biennale Interieur, a brand new TT two-door, fresh off the German automaker's assembly line, was covered in some of the most delicious looking treats you've ever seen in your live. The sweetest Audi ever made

The Interieur is not a major car show you've never heard about, but a show dedicated to furniture and interior decorations. This is a clear statement from Audi that its TT is not only an automobile, but also a lifestyle statement, something that fits a particular kind of client who's never going to settle for a Japanese import and knows all about the latest design trends.

The whole 4.2-meter long body of the third-generation Audi TT body required no less than 27,000 delicious pieces of chocolate to cover. They're are of different shape, size and color and were skillfully created by pastry baker and chocolate confectionery Joost Arijs.

The car was on display for a whole week and Audi Belgium, who was only too glad to provide the car, created a special Facebook page where everybody could post their picture with the car. Nobody knows what happened to all those delicious Belgian goodies after that. We do know that if we were there, we might have been hospitalized for diabetes.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
