ABT Sportsline, a tuner specialized in Volkswagen Group models, has unveiled its latest kit, dedicated to the second generation Audi Q7.
The result is called ABT QS7 and is a full package for the largest SUV in Audi’s portfolio. From alloy rims and body kit to suspension and engine tuning, ABT offers a package for every relevant element. After all, the German company is the global market leader when it comes to tuning models made by the Volkswagen Group.
The design part of the tuning kit for the Audi Q7 is considerable and polarizing. The design kit includes a new front grille, a new front bumper, flared wheel arches, side vents for the front fenders, massive side sills, a set of alloy rims, a new rear bumper, a trunk lid spoiler, and a quad-pipe exhaust.
We say that this design kit is polarizing because you are going to either hate it or love it. There’s no in between with the QS7 package by ABT.
A complete wheel set for the Audi Q7 made by ABT costs from 3,450 euros to 6,655 euros, depending on design and size. The price of the design package for the SUV is not specified, and the situation is the same for the interior options. The tuner does offer a broad range of accessories for the Q7’s interior, so customers interested in such elements should reach out to the company for further inquiries.
The off-road capabilities of the Q7 are annihilated by the lowered suspension, but the car does gain an imposing stance, if you are into that sort of look.
On the engine side, ABT offers a massive 77 HP increase for the 3.0-liter TFSI engine, raising output to 410 HP. The TDI three-liter unit gets a power boost to 325 HP, pretty high from the standard 272 HP. The torque of the diesel unit goes up from 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) to 680 Nm (501 lb-ft). For the diesel engine, the power hike costs 2,990 euros, while the TFSI requires 4,290 euros to receive the extra power.
