At first, we were reluctant to show you this Audi TT Roadster tuned by ABT because we thought the parts were the same as on the coupe. However, upon closer inspection we realized that the little rocket looked stunning in every way, and so it deserves a moment under the spotlight.
Launched in Europe last year, the TT Roadster is a bit heavier, slower and more expensive than its coupe brother. Cargo capacity is also compromised, and you don't get rear seats, not that you could use them anyway.

ABT Sportsline's package of car parts has targeted the regular TT Roadster, equipped with a 230 horsepower 2.0 TFSI engine. That has been chip tuned to 310 PS and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 80 PS and 70 Nm (51 lb-ft). Essentially, they've turned it into a TTS.

Cosmetic changes include a new front bumper, inserts for the door mirrors, a rear diffuser, and wing. In a convertible sportscar, that downforce is great to have. Let's not forget all the Mk1 TT Roadsters had to be recalled because numerous crashed occurred due to rear end lift.

ABT also offers a lowering suspension kit that brings everything closer to the ground by 35mm at the front and 30mm at the rear. Four exhaust pipes with a dark finish ensure this roadster has just as much curb appeal as its TTS cousins. Finally, large diameter 20-inch alloy wheels fill the arches and match the tastefully restrained look of the Nardo Gray paint.

There are also interior tweaks, which we, unfortunately, don't see in these photos. They include floor mats, Alcantara steering wheel, seats and console or LED ambient lighting.
