Life is hard for tuners these days: hardcore clients want something different from what level-headed clients desire so they have to adapt quickly. That’s what ABT did at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show with its pumped-up TT and Passat Variant.
First in line is the their TT four-wheeled bullet that say its power output bumped from 230 HP to 310 HP. Torque was also taken up a notch so the 2.0-liter turbo engine (the exact one used by the Golf GTI) is good for 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) instead of 370 Nm (272 lb-ft).

On the outside, the dose of hooliganism is well delivered by the vertical air blades that are supposed to channel the air like a DTM race car would. New side skirts have also been installed on the Ingolstadt coupe along with a quad exhaust system.

Moving on to products targeting more balanced personalities, ABT is also showing in Geneva a 2015 VW Passat 2.0 BiTDI tuned to 280 HP. Along with the power bump comes a body kit with a new front lip spoiler, revised skirts and a spoiler. New springs can be added and the interior can be tweaked to satisfy the customer’s desires.

We also liked the turbine-shaped wheels that ooze coolness and we appreciate ABT’s decision of keeping the classy LED headlights as well as adding a quad exhaust system similar to the one on the Golf R.

So there you have it, two different cars for customers with almost opposite personalities. But hey, you have got to please them all, otherwise they might turn their heads in other directions, right?
