According to Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager of Acura, “These is no more clear promise for the Acura brand than the Precision Crafted Performance. We’re committed to infusing this core Acure promise into every facet of our products and every aspect of our relationship with the customer.

The concept embodies high-contrast details and the combination of modern, sheer surfaces and muscular, organic sculpting, and focuses on performance and prestige thanks to its ultra-low and wide stance, long dash-to-axle ratio, deeply sculpted surfaces, and a freshly designed Diamond Pentagon grille.

The car also features 22-inch wheels, Jewel Constellation LED headlights and floating LED taillights.

A fantastic touch is the “quantum continuum” design theme that is characterized by a flowing transition of materials and structure from the exterior to the interior of the car. This is highlighted by the absence of a b-pillar, the door rocker panel that flows into the interior side sill, and the rear center high-mounted stoplight that pierces the rear glass and flows down to form the structure for the metal airfoil shape of the rear headrests.

The interior is the place where cantilevered surfaces meet with striking tones, expressive surfacing, and modern detailing. Some key features of the interior are the double-layered instrument panel, high-contrast front seat covers, ultra-thin “floating” rear seats, and the hand-crafted audio speaker grills made of exotic wood.

The driver keeps in touch with the car through a compact, race-inspired steering wheel with paddle shifters and Integrated Dynamics System control, a floating center meter, head-up display, a cantilevered center stack and an ultra-wide, thin and curved center display screen, operated by a floating touch pad suspended on the center stack.

The Acura Precision Concept integrates the digital human-machine interface (HMI) to establish a connection between man and machine. Thanks to this system, every occupant is scanned upon entry and the car selects personalized features and functions, including maps, audio or customized vehicle performance settings.
