The 2017 Acura NSX is getting ready for its market launch, and the brand is taking full advantage of all the potential promoting possibilities.
The Japanese brand has published its NSX commercial for this year’s Super Bowl, and with it, it has unveiled further information about their hybrid supercar.

The Super Bowl spot for the Acura NSX features music from the legendary Van Halen “Runnin’ with the Devil” song. While not the most exciting commercial for a new car and maybe not the most exciting Super Bowl spot, the commercial has much energy to it.

You can see the new advertisement video below right now, but it will appear on TV during the first quarter of the big game.

The company has also embarked on a social media campaign, and that involves a series of activities and live experiences for those who want to interact with the brand using these communication channels.

Acura will become one of the first brands to use a Twitter Conversational Video to launch a Super Bowl spot.

Viewers will get the chance to enter a competition on Twitter and Facebook that will get them into sweepstakes for a VIP NSX driving experience. To enter, social media users must utilize the pre-populated tweet featuring the commercial and share it with the #DriveAcuraNSXContest hashtag and tag a friend.

Acura will unveil a special, 60-second version of their spot exclusive to the Internet. The Super Bowl commercial is a 30-second spot.

The cool part about Acura’s promotional campaign that goes along their Super Bowl commercial is that the extended spot leads to a web page that features a countdown clock. When the time on the counter is depleted, potential customers will have access to the Acura NSX configurator.

Through this online tool, fans of the NSX will get the chance to configure the 2017 NSX of their dreams. Those interested in purchasing their dream model will then be able to contact an Acura retailer with their specification and place an order.
