Leather jackets for men and women inspired by the world of driving and a luxurious range of cashmere scarves are Bentley’s additions for the automaker’s spring fashion collection. The new outwear will make its debut Tuesday, at the Geneva Motor Show.
With most of the models for this year’s motor show in Geneva being already unveiled, it appears some carmakers are considering bringing in the lifestyle products. It's the case for Bentley who will be doing some fashion ventures at the event.

The leather jacket range is allegedly designed to echo the craftsmanship and materials displayed in the interior of the actual car. Available for men and women, each is created from lamb skin.

The model designed for him captures a sporting aesthetic in Navy leather, as the back evokes the cobra design of a Continental GT’s seats. The zipped neck pocket conceals a dual collar, with an extension that can be exposed when driving a convertible when additional wind protection is needed. It is also reversible and can be transformed into a sporting down jacket. The quilted interior lining, crafted from a water-resistant cotton suit fabric will protect its wearer from light showers.

The model designed for her is available in hues of red and dark sand, while inside the leather exterior a twin-stitched quilted interior is revealed. Trims are executed in a unique polka dot motif, reportedly inspired by the legendary Bentley Boy Tim Birkin’s scarves, in a nod to Bentley’s racing heritage.

Since we’re talking about accessories created by a luxury manufacturer, like the cars each jacket is handcrafted, using a fold an stitch leather technique. A new range of lightweight Bentley Cashmere scarves for ladies and the Bentley Handbag collection which are detailed in the press release below both complete the Brits’ fashion collection to be presented in Geneva.

Since the collection appeals to Bentley drivers, paying $5,395 (£3,500) for a jacket and $5,500 (£3,800) for a handbag should not be a problem.
