Given the versatility level the BMW M3 has reached, you can use this machine for tons of purposes. But is the Bimmer any good at playing rugby?
We'd be tempted to say the M Division machine is even better than human players and the proof lies in the clip below. The footage sees two of England's stars, namely Kieran Brookes and Tom Wood, engaged in a game of drift pass.
The rules of the shenanigan are few and simple: since the car can't pass and the humans can't drift (well, at least not on their own), things had to be done the other way around.
The players tried to throw balls at the M3 drifting around them, with the BMW having all four windows down.
Don't let yourself fooled by the fact that BMW is trying to pass this as a duel between Kieran and Tom. Oh no. What we see when we look at the stunt is a fight between man and driving machine.
However, we're not really sure about the conclusion mentioned above - perhaps the M3 was supposed to catch the ball, in which case the car's game is less than impressive. Unfortunately, there's no rule book to check out in order to solve this case.
Oh well, we'll have to let the automaker itself explain why two men and another man, smoking the rear tires of a 430 hp BMW, were asked to play rugby: "As England take on Scotland in the RBS 6 Nations, we challenged rugby stars Kieran Brookes and Tom Wood to a game of our own. Do they have the speed and accuracy to cope with the sheer power of the BMW M3?"
P.S.: Truth be told, the answer isn't that important, which is why we'll stop here and invite you to play games with the "play" button below.
