BMW M5 30 Jahre Edition for Sale in the US. Costs $325,000

Back in January, at a charity even, billionaire Rick Hendrick paid $700,000 for the last BMW M5 30 Jahre Edition model available in the US. Back then we considered the sum to be big taken out of context and now we’re showing you one that’s up for grabs for less than half.

The guys from DuPont Registry apparently have one on their website that can be yours for $325,000. Considering that the initial price was just $138,275, that’s a pretty hefty price increase. Is it justified?

Well, you’d be buying the most powerful car BMW ever made. The 30 Jahre M5 has 600 HP at its disposal from the 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo S63 mill under the bonnet. Furthermore, the torque output went up to 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) and the rear-wheel drive sedan will no go up to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds. That also makes it the fastest production car BMW ever made.

On top of that, the 30th Anniversary model is a rare edition built in just 300 units worldwide. The US received only 30 of them and almost all of them were sold by the telephone the day the car was put up for sale on the North American continent.

This particular model has only 200 miles (320 km) on its clock and is virtually impeccable. The exterior is done in the only color of choice for this model, Frozen Silver Metallic and the interior features Black Alcantara and Full Merino leather.

As all 30 Jahre edition models, it also has the Competition Package on, with the revised suspension, new diff at the back and better steering. From the looks of the photos, the Carbon Ceramic Brakes are also included in the mix, those alone costing close to $10,000.
