Do you guys know exactly how much torque an average lorry has? About as much as this awesome tuning project from the guys at Brabus, who have taken the S63 AMG into a whole new level of exclusivity.
We've seen the Brabus 850 badge on the new S-Class before, back when it was called the iBusiness. However, this is not an iPhone on wheels, it's a musical instrument, a carbon fiber violin and a perfectly crafted flute rolled into one awesome car.
And we're not just playing around with silly metaphors, this S63 AMG really has been coated in a light copper paint, made to pop out even more by the carbon fiber body kit.
Inside, the same treatment has been applied, made even better by a small sea of cream leather. Brabus are among the best in the world at delivering perfect interiors and you can tell that here… if you can put up with shiny pleather accents.
We've saved the best till last – the engine. This is a 6-liter monster, but it's not a V12. The cubic capacity of the S63's 5.5-liter has been increased, while bigger turbos and a bunch of other ridiculously expensive parts (like carbon fiber air intakes) help increase the output to 850 PS (838 bhp) and the absurd torque level we mentioned: 1.450 Nm or 1069 lb-ft.
This is likely one of the fastest four-door cars in the world right now, capable of reaching 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and a supercar-like top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). Take that Bentley Flying Spur!
