Ever wished you could make your 5,000-square-foot mansion in the Hills look better without having to hire all these people to clean it, cook and so on? No? Well, who cares if you didn’t, that probably means you’re not among the high-heeled people that could ever afford this so you don’t count. If you are rich, however, you might want to learn about Care-O-bot 4.
It’s a machine, with futuristic looks that could even be your best friend... especially if you’re a lonely prince living in a castle on the top of a hill somewhere in England. Or maybe, you’ve just inherited a huge cosmetic empire. Whatever the case might be, we’re sure that this product is not for regular people.

The care-O-bot 4 is the product vision of a mobile robot assistant to actively support humans in their daily life. It can be used for a variety of household tasks, for example to deliver food and drinks, to assist with cooking or for cleaning”, its German creators describe the modern R2-D2.

It consists of 6 independent and configurable plug & play modules, so you can scale it from a simple transportation unit to the full-fledged two armed gentlemen robot. The two spherical joints provide an exceptional workspace that is completely covered by sensors. They allow for roll-pitch-yaw movements of torso and head, which makes the robot capable of performing a wide range of body gestures.

While head cameras enable human robot interaction based on a graphical user interface and gesture recognition, care-O-bot 4 also offers multi-modal use input such as touchscreen, microphones and speakers. The robot was first brought into scene back in 2008 and the current model was recently released.

Event though the company’s website is not quite accurate on how much it costs, according to RobotxWorld, its previous model the Care-O-Bot 3, is priced at EUR 250,000 ($290,000) so it’s definitely more than that. In case you want to learn more about the robo-butler you could also check out the video below. Sure, you could also buy a Rolls-Royce Ghost instead, but that's just us...
