Alright, Carlex Design has a 'thingy' for tuning BMWs. Nothing new so far. Also, they made a habit of getting the best (or the worst) out the Z4 and guess what: it happened again with another example of the Bavarian roadster.
When it comes to Carlex Design's understandable preference for BMWs, we must admit the Z4 is one of their favourite models. Sure, you don't have to take our word for it but try and go down the memory lane and remember the Z4 Steampunk or the carbon and Alcantara enhanced one.

But we're here to talk about the firm's latest creation, dubbed as the BMW Z4 Rampant. Before adding more info on the car, I'd like to say the vehicle has a BMW Gina prototype flavor about it when you look at it for the first time.

However, we can reassure you the outer shell is all metal, so let's move on to the essential stuff. There's a V8 (from the previous BMW M3) rumbling under the hood, discretely announced by the 'V8' badges glued on the car's body. In terms of power and torque, the roadster should now rely on 420 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft), which is more than enough.

On the outside, the car's appearance was boosted via a two-tone silver and grey paint setup plus a set of lavish alloy wheels. But it's Carlex we're talking here, so most of the work was focused on the cabin.

Inside, the Z4 Rampant features a mix of Alcantara and buffalo leather. But that wasn't enough, so Carlex Design added their trademark carbon-fiber trim to animate the roadster's interior.

So, a V8 and pimped out interior...who could say no to that?
