BMW introduced the M4 last year and people are already racing the car in various motorsport events. Excluding the DTM where BMW itself uses a modified version that still relies on a naturally aspirated V8, teams around the world are using the car as it was put together by the Motorsport division. One of them is Albin Machler.
The Swiss driver and his team managed to win the title in his home country in the hillclimb events just last year and you can check out his performance in the video below. An avid BMW driver, over the years he competed in a MINI Cooper S, a BMW 318iS, 135i Coupe and even a 1M Coupe.

Last year, he switched to the newest car in the M stable, the M4. Unlike the DTM adventure, this one uses the standard S55 engine making 431 HP and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. It was also prepared for racing with all the proper gear like bucket seats and a roll cage, not to mention the all-present stickers all around.

Out of the 9 races held in the Swiss mountains, the BMW and Albin managed to win 8 and set 7 new course records. As you’re about to see, it wasn’t easy either as at one point he even had to race in dense fog and heavy rain, letting the rear end slip sideways.

Even so, he plans on charging on next year as well with his manual M4 and hopefully he’ll set new records, once again. In the meantime, check out his performance and try not to be impressed.
