Check Out Tiff Needell Having Fun with a BMW M4 at Thruxton Race Track

We’ve had a sneaky suspicion for quite some time now that Tiff Needell is not only a very cool guy on TV but also in real life. However, we’re not his closest buddies (even though we’d like to) so we couldn’t tell for sure but this video seems to settle the issue once and for all: Tiff is truly a great chap!

Looking over his resume, you’d think that he’d be less than willing to take an amateur out on a proper race track with a brand new BMW M4 just for the fun of it. And yet, here we are, watching a video of him doing just that.

One lucky guy named Adrian had the chance to meet up with the living legend on the Thruxton Race Track and asked him to show his skills on the circuit using a BMW M4. Where some would’ve looked down on the guy and simply said ‘No’, Tiff not only accepted immediately but also did it all with a huge smile on his face.

During the laps (because he did more than just one), the Fifth Gear presenter really gave the passenger something to talk about for the rest of his life probably. Not only did he drive on the perfect lines but he also had some fun, drifting quite a lot of the last minutes.

It was all fun and games until one tire (as the car was completely stock, it was riding on Pirellis) simply tapped out and told the guys it’s time to take it down a notch.

Tiff is not new to the M4. He was actually one of the first people to drive it, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this summer, when he had the chance to drive a special model up the famous hill. It was the car designed specifically as the readers of Petrolicious imagined the perfect M4 would look like. Tanzanite Blue model with all the M Performance parts on it sounds like a good way to go, right?
