He's best known as a long-time stand-up comedian, but in more recent times he’s been staying busy as a television/radio personality. Between hosting TV shows and writing books about love and such, Steve Harvey has also opened up a dating website recently. So far, it seems everything turns out pretty good considering he can afford buying his wife a brand new Rolls-Royce.
Harvey bought the white Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe a couple of weeks ago as a gift for his wife, Marjorie Bridges, who recently turned 50. As he probably hopped it will the flamboyant hundred- thousand-dollar vehicle did quite the impression, considering Harvey’s lady couldn’t stop crying when she saw the car parked in front of the house.
And it’s no wonder it was a shocker, considering we’re talking about a handmade convertible which is currently the most expensive Rolls-Royce model thanks to a starting price of $443,000. But money is not a problem for this comedian who has been working a lot lately. He hosts The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Steve Harvey, and Family Feud. He is also the author of “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man” and “Straight Talk, No Chaser: How to Find and Keep a Man”, two books that have made him very popular.
But things have not always been milk and honey for Harvey. In fact, in the late 1980s he was homeless for multiple years. He slept in his 1976 Ford Tempo and when not performing gigs that provided a hotel, he showered at gas stations or swimming pool showers.
Turns out working hard does get you there…
