By now you’re either a big fan or you simply never heard about it, but Seinfeld’s web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” is pretty much among the first five auto shows in the petrol head’s book. Season 5 premiering is due November 6th so it was about time a proper trailer would be released.
Like it or not, you need to check it out at least for the beautiful wheels featured on the new episodes.
Jimmy Fallon, Kevin Hart, Amy Schumer, Fred Armisen, Miranda Signs, Bill Burr and Ali Wentworth are just a couple of the names to star in the new season. And if there is anything that outshines them then it’s probably the gorgeous collectables Jerry Seinfeld drives while he’s hosting the show.
As far as the trailer lets us see, we’re talking about a Ferrari Daytona, a Ford Mustang Boss 302, a Frogeye Sprite, a first-generation Chevrolet Corvette, a Porsche 550 Spyder and plenty other. We’re also about to see some really fun moments as it would seem a couple of the vehicles come with issues. The show has been renewed for five more seasons, with a seven-episode fifth season premiering on November 6, 2014.
Joan Rivers was supposed to be the first guest
Unfortunately, there is also a sad part about the new season. Joan Rivers had been asked by Seinfeld to be the fifth season’s first guest, however she postponed the appearance due to a scheduled medical procedure.
Rivers experienced serious complications and stopped breathing during a routine procedure at a clinic in Yorkville, Mahattan. She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and put into a medically induced coma after reportedly suffering cardiac arrest. After several interventions, Rivers died on September 4th.
As tragic as that is, life goes on and we simply can't wait to see what Jerry has in store for us this season. One thing's for sure, we're gonna have a laugh!
