We all know the way to Formula One is not only a long and challenging one, but it will also imply some serious bank accounts. In fact, becoming a pro driver is every petrolhead’s dream, and in most scenarios it remains that way. Luckily, now and then opportunities like these arise when we receive the chance to get a taste of that beautiful world.

The world’s biggest circuit of the kind was designed by Sky Sports F1 expert Martin Brundle. Its creators claim it’s the greatest layout slot car track experts have ever created. The 45 meters (147 feet) contraption is made of 177 pieces and features the best corners, chicanes and sections from the 2015 F1 calendar.

Italy and Ascari Chicane, Monaco and the Casino Square, Canada and the Wall of Champions, and Silverstone and the Copse are just some of the details you’ll recognize on track. Here’s how Brundle describes it:

The team challenged me to design my dream circuit using sections from the 20 F1 races in 2015, all of which will be live on Sky Sports F1. I immediately wanted a figure of ‘8’ like our beloved Suzuka, and could only dream of driving a series of corners such as scaling the mountain up to turn one in Austin before falling through the ‘Senna S’ of Brazil and towards Silverstone’s fearsome Copse corner. And that’s just a small section. Now amazingly, we’ve built a model and so I will revert to my childhood for many laps. It’s going to get competitive.

The track will be auctioned off for Children in Need at the CarFest event in Laverstoke Park in Hampshire on August 29.
