The internet has spoiled us all to such an extent that now we can say we've seen enough videos comparing the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder, racing action included. However, when it comes to adding the LaFerrari to the mix, things become more complicated.
When a car magazine wants to do this, Ferrari generally steps in and forbids LaF customers from lending their machines to the media, sometimes offering a press car instead.

Since Maranello is known to have injected steroids into press cars before, this is where the initiative of having a three-way hybrid hypercar comparo stops. Hence, all the 918-vs-P1 clips mentioned above.

Well, this time around, we have something different to show you. We're talking about a hybrid battle that also includes the Prancing Horse's halo car.

A LaFerrari, a McLaren P1 and a Porsche 918 Spyder have recently met on the incredible Spa-Francorchamps F1 track in Belgium. Yes, these are customer cars and the trick was pulled by the team over at RSRSpa.

The result comes in the form of the video below, which gives us a POV perspective from each of the three, in one intoxicating melange.

As we said, the LaFerrari used here is a customer car, but the owner handed the keys to F1 driver Adrian Sutil - for those of you not following Formula One (no 1.6-liter turbo excuses allowed), we'll mention the German driver used to work for Sauber last season and is now a backup driver for Williams.

So while there's nothing official coming from Ferrari, we expect the Italians to have tolerated this meeting thanks to the fact that we are not talking about an instrumented test.

At least when it comes to the results that were published, only the footage was shown, with no telemetry data involved.

However, this serves as a great opportunity to see that the three hypercars deliver similar performance, but this comes in flavors that could hardly be more different.
