We’ve just added a new artist to the list of our favorite digital masters and, after seeing his majestic supercar work, we felt the need to share this with you. Be prepared to be taken into an apocalyptic world, where Ferraris, Lamborghinis and McLarens appear to descent into a sci-fi book.
We’ve always lusted for more artistic creations that involve our beloved four-wheeled creatures, but as the consumerism takes over, such things are more and more difficult to find - Hollywood is focused on giving us ten installments of the Fast and Furious franchise instead.
People like Isaac Asimov or Frank Herbert weren’t exactly keen on the internal combustion stories either, so looking into the past for immersive sci-fi supercar stories, for instance, is not as simple as it may seem.
Nonetheless, we now have something to keep ourselves entertained and it’s all thanks to 21-year-old Khyzyl Saleem. The Brit is a massive car aficionado and a digital artist, so he decided to combine the two by giving us a futuristic take on some of the hottest supercars around.
We suppose the strong supercar scene in the UK has served as a bit of an inspiration for the 21-year-old. Nonetheless, while we can’t be all that impressed by Lamborghinis with flamethrower exhaust after seeing so many of them, these digital creations take the game to a whole new level.
In fact, the only real world supercar that we could slightly label as close to these images is Liberty Walk Lamborghini Aventador that rocked this year’s edition of SEMA.
The collection you are looking at is part of a project called that’s aptly named Evade - it seems to provide a rather good escape from reality. By the way, expect to hear more about Saleem in the future, as the young man aims to pursue an automotive design career.
By the way, the British artist also did a superb job with muscle cars.
