Fiat has recently started selling the new Aegea/Tipo sedan in Europe. However, India still likes the older Linea model, which has recently got a special version. The Linea 125s has a sportier look, and its name denotes the power output.
A 1.4-liter T-Jet engine resides under its hood and delivers 125 PS at 5,000rpm, plus 210 Nm of torque from 2,200rpm. Fiat says that makes its sedan the most powerful in the segment, and we see no reason to disagree.

Cosmetically, a few things have changed. At the front, we see a larger grille with a chrome surround and black mesh. This and the lower front fascia are features borrowed from the updated Punto.

Equipment is generous and includes ABS and EBD, rain sensing wipers, automatic dual projector headlamps, rear parking sensors and electric mirrors with integrated indicators. The model has also been fitted with navigation and ambient lighting.

Another new car being showcased is the Fiat Avventura Urban Cross. For now, it's a concept, but production will commence later in 2016.

We don't know what to say about it except that it looks good for an old car. It's based on the existing Avventura model that was launched in 2014 and ups the ante with an Abarth engine. We are talking about a 1.4-liter T-Jet turbo with 140 PS and 210 Nm of torque.

Mixing the best of both worlds, it's got raised suspension and sexy hot hatch looks, so by Indian standards, it's like a sports SUV. The concept's dimensions of 4,000 mm length, 1,700 mm width, and 1,500 mm height should remain the same when going into production.

Stand-out features include LED lights at the front and rear, 17-inch alloys, indicators mounted in the mirrors and an off-road body kit that's been painted silver. The concept's roof rails have been fitted with lights at the end, just like those on the old Nissan X-Trail.

On the inside, the car gets a touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth integration and satellite navigation. Red adds an air of sportiness to the seats, dash and doors.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
