There are some car brands that you just shouldn't try and tune, most of them being British. Sure, you can put a different set of wheels and a custom grille on a Bentley, but why bother when the factory did such a great job.
As far as Jaguars are concerned, tuning efforts should always be limited to new exhaust systems and ECU remaps. Models like the F-Type or XJ come tantalizingly close to perfection and should be left alone. You want to do something to the body? How about cleaning it!
But some people just can't leave well enough alone and we've recently stumbled upon a horrible looking Jaguar XJ project from the US of A. The XJ is their flagship model, a large sedan made even more imposing by the fact that this is a long-wheelbase XJL.
Around the front, several new grille inserts have been added, culminating with a large chrome piece in the middle. What have you done with the Leaper emblem and why does this Jaguar look like an old Chrysler 300?
A brand new XJL costs anywhere from $82,000 in America, to which they add about $10,000 for the wheels and $5,000 for the grille pack. But to our eyes, the whole thing isn't worth more than a Honda Civic.
Editor's note: We love you Forgiato, but this is going way too far!

Those aren't wheels, they're oversized buttons
All the parts on this Jag come from Forgiato, a company famous for its oversized wheel designs that often end up in rap videos. That Deep South look is granted by a massive set of chrome alloys that basically have no spokes. To say they completely ruined the XJ would actually be an understatement.Around the front, several new grille inserts have been added, culminating with a large chrome piece in the middle.
