With General Motors pretty much turning the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V into a four-door Corvette Z06, you might’ve expected everybody to be pleased with the output. Don’t bet on that, though, since Hennessey Performance is ready to take your CTS-V to the next level(s).
The Texan tuner has just released a dyno video of the CTS-V. Despite the aftermarket developer’s website already mentioning three power levels for the go-fast Caddy, it seems work on that LT4 V8 has just begun - the clip shows the car pulling the dyno run in stock trim, the starting point of any such adventure.

Those of you who are curious about the standard CTS-V’s output should know the sedan delivered 548 hp and 511 lb-ft (Nm) at the rear wheels. For the record, that accounts to a bit more than the classic 15 percent drivetrain loss expected for rear-wheel-drive, automatic cars - Cadillac rates the CTS-V at 640 hp and 630 lb-ft (854 Nm).

Regardless, once Hennessey completes the tuning tasks, you’ll be able to choose between three packages that offer 750, 800 or 1,000 ponies at the crank.

Here’s what you’ll get if you opt for the heftier kit:

  • 2.9 Liter Supercharger System
  • Forged Pistons
  • Forged Steel Rods
  • Custom HPE Camshaft
  • Ported Cylinder Heads
  • Upgraded Fuel Injectors
  • Upgraded Fuel System
  • High Flow Intercooling System
  • Intercooler Heat Exchanger Upgrade
  • Long-tube Stainless Steel Headers
  • Stainless Steel Midpipes
  • High Flow Catalytic Converters
  • All Necessary Gaskets & Fluids
  • Professional Installation
  • HPE Engine Management Calibration
  • Serial-Numbered Dash & Engine Plaques
  • Hennessey Exterior Badging
  • Hennessey Premium Floormats

The Lone Star State developer also offers a one-year/12,000-mile warranty for its developments.

Those who want to go the extra mile can also opt for a stainless steel exhaust, as well as for Hennessey’s H10 monoblock wheels.

Until the tuner bakes its high-octane pies, we're inviting you to hit the "play" button below, with the sweet soundtrack being on the house.
