Honda USA hasn't released pricing information or any brochure for the new HR-V, which is a small crossover that's sure to sell really well. So for them to show it for the first time in a video as an April Fools joke, well that's kind of a big deal.
The funny little clip is about Ashley or as she calls herself, ASHLEY_WITH_A_Y. She firmly believes that making photos of herself is a form of art. As much of a caricature as she may appear, we actually know quite a few people who spend hours editing their Facebook photos.

Honda isn't making fun of anybody in particular, but we can only think of one person in this world who deserve the title "Queen of Social", and that's Kim Kardashians. She falls within that famous for being famous category well and with almost 90 million followers on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, she'd be a great spokeswoman for people who stay glued to their smartphones.

Anyway, let's get back to our protagonist. Amanda says the HR-V Selfie Edition has a total of 10 cameras, including one that's underneath the car. That's funny, but two of them are real and quite useful. There's going to be a reversing camera offered as standard to compensate for that small back window and, just like on the Civic, a lens installed under the right mirror will be excellent for monitoring the blind spots.

"Honda prides itself on always being at the forefront of the latest automobile technologies. That’s why we're proud to announce the all-new HR-V Selfie Edition. With 10 cameras across the interior and exterior, the HR-V Selfie Edition allows drivers to snap self-portraits while the car is in Park. Watch the video above for a demonstration from our beta-tester, Ashley," the Japanese automaker says.
