Ever wondered what could make a Lamborghini Diablo owner spend some time alone with his car inside the garage at 2AM? There are obviously tons of answers for this question, but the guy in the adjacent clip brings us one of the saddest - he’s spending the night with his stationary Diablo in order to film a clip that starts with a remake of the Wolf of Wallstreet Lamborghini Countach scene.
Still, why is he doing that at 2AM? We can’t really question the man’s motives, not after he went through a hit and run situation that saw his Raging Bull being damaged beyond the paint.
Some of you might remember Rob Dahm from his “rotary engine love” clip. This car aficionado likes to make videos and upload them to Youtube, but the clip we’re talking about right now is one of dark times.
Long story short, an unidentified driver in an old Ford Taurus allegedly took Rob entirely by surprise, ramming into his side and sending his bull raging into the curb. The result was pretty painful, as the damage includes the fiberglass front apron, carbon fiber side skirts (aftermarket), the rims on the passenger’s side and, get this, the rear subframe.
As the man explains, once his Diablo climbed the curb, underbody scrapped against the rough surface as if it were a skateboard... a $150,000 skateboard.
The police report is already complete and Rob is currently hoping his insurance company will cover the damage. Of course, there’s no compensation for the all the stress this has caused. Yours truly has gone though a somewhat similiar situation (minus the Lamborghini) earlier this year and so it’s pretty easy to relate to the pride and joy damage situation.
Still, this is one overly reasonable owner, as you'll be able to see in the footage. We just hope he finds the Green Ford Taurus wearing Yellow marks he's looking for. After all, the driver should still be in Monroe, Michigan, the city where the Diablo got bullied.
