Here’s a thought, when you’re that big of an actor like Tom Hanks is, nothing happens out of pure coincidence. So when you see the two-time Academy Award winner sitting next to a Fiat 500, you know there’s something going on.
The quoting next to the picture he posted just now says quite a lot of Hanks’ humor; he truly is an iconic actor we should all look up to.

As you can see, the Fiat 500 is an older generation model, which can mean so many things. For example, it could say the Forest Gump star is busy doing something in Italy. After all, judging by the background the city does look quite European to us.

It may as well, be the scene of a new movie the actor could be working on. In fact, as far as we know Tom Hanks is starring in an upcoming thriller directed by Ron Howard and written by David Koepp, based on 2013 novel of the same name by Dan Brown. It’s called Inferno, and filming began on April 27, in Venice, Italy, and wrapped on July 21. Maybe the Hollywood legend decided to stick around for a while longer, after all it's vacation time.

All these presumptions are possible, but not quite probable. It’s not because marketing is of great importance to the actor - as of 2014, Hanks' films have grossed more than $4.2 billion at U.S. and Canadian box offices and more than $8.4 billion worldwide. We just remembered of a similar product placement gig Hanks was somewhat involved with earlier this year.

Carly Rae Jepsen – best known for the song “Call Me Maybe” – somehow managed to put the Lost in Translation star along Justin Bieber in her “I Really Like You” video she shot in New York back in February.

Fans can see America’s kindest celebrity spending the entire video lip-synching to the lyrics of the song. At one point, however, fans drive by in a yellow Fiat 500X, and Hanks waves back to them, of course. Cameras do slow their pace once the car scene kicks in, so we can only presume it was a product placement thing.

The real question here is whether or not Tom Hanks truly needs to buy a new car; maybe you have some suggestions.
