Sure with this video we get the chance to take a peak at what the latest installment of the James Bond 007 franchise is all about. Yet looking at the first teaser trailer, there is only one thing that stands out as a true work of art, the Aston Martin DB10. Too bad none of the 10 units created will ever end up in the hands of the public.
Since we know that there’s not one chance we will ever end up driving this car we are going to have to simply look but don’t touch. That is why we are here, once again talking about the newest James Bond movie.
Daniel Craig is at his fourth appearance as the British secret service agent and it doesn’t seem like he has any plans to slow down the pace. Not that we didn’t like Pierce Bronson’s performance, but Craig’s debut in Casino Royale (2006) was highly acclaimed and earned the British actor a BAFTA award nomination, with the film becoming the highest-grossing in the series at the time.
And it’s been like that with the next two movies, Quantum of solace and Skyfall, with the second becoming the ninth highest-grossing film of all time. Considering the level of profit we are looking at, it’s no wonder Aston Martin did everything they could to stand out and make the best out of their participation. After all the British sportscar maker is currently celebrating 51 years of collaboration between the company and the movie franchise.
The video teaser is mostly about the movie’s story – a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization - yet for us the real peak is when the gorgeous DB10 kicks in with that distinctive growl.
