After packing up their gear and taking a nice farewell from North Australia, where Top Gear has been spending the last weeks filming, Clarkson has made one last pit stop. The team’s “striker” and his granddaughter went to see The Rolling Stones in concert at Perth Arena Wednesday night.
We obviously appreciate the fact Jeremy Clarkson is a fan of one of the greatest rock and roll bands in history, but it’s not really that much of a surprise, considering they are somewhat close. Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has appeared on Jeremy’s hit show before, back in series 10, as the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.
After all, what better way to celebrate a nice trip in Australia if not with a beautiful concert. And it would seem the time spent on the continent was quite pleasant for the crew taking by what Clarkson wrote on Twitter: “People of the Top End. 140 characters is simply not enough to say how much I’ve enjoyed my time here. Everyone who helped: thank you.”
It’s no wonder the the Top Gear hosts are finally getting some fun-fun time, considering it was all media punches with the Argentineans over the license number conflict lately and all.
One thing pops in our mind though, whether Clarkson’s favorite Stones song is “I can’t get no satisfaction” because that would definitely make a lot of sense.
Fuck me, the Stones are good still

I can't get no satisfaction
The Rolling Stones are currently on the long-awaited 2014 On Fire tour. The band had to delay their tour after the tragic death of Mick Jagger’s partner L’Wren Scott. “At least the concrete in the stadium has had time to set”, the lead singer noted at the first concert in line they did in Adelaide Ovel. It’s no wonder the the Top Gear hosts are finally getting some fun-fun time, considering it was all media punches with the Argentineans over the license number conflict lately and all.
