Kawasaki Ninja H2 Looks Really Bad after Crashing

If anything, the Ninja H2 and H2r are probably the best-looking motorcycles launched as 2015 models. And this only makes seeing one totaled a sight much harder to behold, especially for those who got to see these bikes up close.
We had a close encounter with both the Kawasaki Ninja H2 and its track-only sibling at EICMA 2014, and seeing a mauled H2 makes our hearts ache.

The Ninja bearing the KHI logo sport a spectacular pure silver mirror finish. Back in the days when Kawasaki was only teasing the two new machines, we ran a story on how the finish was achieved. The bodywork was repeatedly sprayed with special chemicals that adhere to it and react.

When two of these layers are combined, the reaction leaves a thin purse silver layer that becomes a perfect mirror. With the rest of the layers adding a high-gloss lacquer to the panels, the mirror darkens and looks like nothing you've seen so far on a bike.

The dark silver mirror makes a very cool contrast with the bright Kawasaki green paint on the steel trellis frame and adds an extra note of uniqueness to the Ninja.

Unfortunately, the cool exquisite looks of the Ninja H2 have no power protecting the rider from crashing. The bike below seems to have collided pretty hard with an obstacle, as the forks have been ripped and the entire front end was obliterated.

We don't have any more info as to where this bike comes from, but judging by the way the totaled H2 looks, we can only hope that the rider is, somehow, alright. The Ninja H2 may be Kawasaki's most advanced bike, but this doesn't help when it comes to road safety or when luck runs out.
