We’ve always said Koenigsegg has one of the most complicated vehicle ranges on the market. Sure, it might not seem so, but the Swedish producer’s deep customer customization means you can never really be sure about what lies under those monstrous bodies.
The latest example of that comes from the Vmax 200 event that took place in the UK over the weekend. The wet tarmac welcomes a pair of White Koenigseggs that were thrown at each other.

The first is a CCX, which makes us giggle thanks to the fact that the automakers lists such vehicles on its website as “historic models”. As for the second, this is an Agera N. This is the first time when we see such a letter attached to the “Agera” moniker, so we had to do a bit of digging in order to see what the N stuff is all about.

The rumor mill talks about this being an Agera that was upgraded according to the customer spec. This piece of info means we are dealing with either an Agera S or an Agera R, which has received a bespoke designation. We’ve reached out to the Swedish automaker and are awaiting confirmation on this.

As for the drag race itself, the CCX has a little over 800 hp and needs 9.8 seconds to hit 124 mph (200 km/h). As for the Agera, this goes from 960 to 1,140 hp and requires between 7.8 and 8s to complete the sprint mentioned above. By the way, we didn't even include the Agera RS here.

In theory, the CCX stands no chance in front of any Agera, but the wet, 2-mile reality of the Vmax event looked a bit different. It was said the CCX has acceleration-tweaked gearing and we can see it taking the lead one run after another. Nonetheless, the Agera N does recover the lost ground as the speeds increased to ridiculous levels.

Oh and in case you’re not sure what all the Vmax talk reminds you of, it might be the LaFerrari vs Veyron drag race rematch we published earlier this week.
