LA Lakers Carlos Boozer Solves His Size Problem with a New Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

With a height of 6 ft 9 in (2.06m), it’s safe to say that the Los Angeles Lakers power forward is a big fellow. Sure, that’s regularly seen as an advantage, even more when you’re a basketball player. But when it comes to the size of your cars, things tend to get complicated. For instance, Boozer had a hard time fitting into a Lamborghini Aventador once.

Laugh as much as you want, but A-list NBA players like Boozer seriously have problems finding the right car. Maybe, this is one of the reasons they regularly have at least one SUV in their collection. Such is the case with the 33-year-old sportsman in question who owns quite a lot of automobiles. Take his white Jeep Wrangler or better off that beautiful Rolls-Royce Wraith.

Driving those shouldn’t be a problem, fitting into a Lambo sure is. Maybe this could finally make good sense for the Sant`Agata Bolognese-based automaker to produce an SUV. Until the Urus (or whatever the name will end up to be), however, Boozers seems to have settled with the solution rappers usually go for.

Yes, we are talking about the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Even though it’s primary class is the light commercial vehicle range, some tuners out there have found it a proper playground for their maddest ideas. Custom auto shops and drivers work together to reinvent the van, and the results are sometimes frightening.

Not in the two-time NBA All-Star player’s case, though, considering his Sprinter rather took the shape of a nightclub, with all the purple lights included. Add proper stereo, telly and other specific gizmos and you get the big picture.
