We could start this post saying “the Top Gear hosts called this the ‘greatest supercar the world had ever seen”. But there are no more Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson doing a show on BBC. We could also remind you people we are looking at the last Ferrari Enzo himself approved, but this you probably know too. Judging by the looks of it, LEGO also know every detail about the F40.
Book us for two, please! OK, maybe that’s the line we should end this piece with, but we wanted to make sure we set things straight ahead.

LEGO has made iconic supercar kits before, of course, but judging by the looks of this beauty they worked up close with Ferrari with this one. Just look! Look at those sleek, aerodynamic lines! Admire those distinctive rear spoiler and racing red bodywork! It’s not a toy; it’s a collectible, folks.

As usual, designers have kept close attention to details. Take the specific pop-up headlights, which all petrolheads recognize on the spot; they do work with this LEGO F40 too. They also built side air intakes and a vented rear hatch that opens to reveal a twin-turbocharged, 90-degree V8 engine.

Add the accurate interior that includes the cabled door handles, steering wheel with Ferrari logo and two red racing seats, and the big picture is settled. As we said, this Ferrari F40 LEGO car has something specific to it: not only can you look at it up close, but if you want, you can take the monster’s heart out altogether.

-Oh, no!
-Oh, yes!
