Lewis Hamilton and Ed Sheeran Race Each Other on Crazy Carts

Ever since Ali Kermani aimed Ken Block’s Gymkhana 7 with his motorized box parody, it would seem those Crazy Carts started being seriously popular among celebrities. And what better way to prove they are one heck of a fun-ride to take than asking 2014 Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton to ride with one against a famous artist.

Both Lewis Hamilton and Ed Sheeran were invited at The Jonathan Ross Show, a British talk show broadcasted on ITV. Since we’re a couple of days away from Christmas, Jonathan gifted the two British celebrities with a new set of wheels, obviously some with the right size to be fitted on set, of course.

The two are seen racing around the studio with comedian David Walliams and Jonathan jumping for his life. There is obviously some serious drifting taking place and a little bit of damaging the poor set, which includes the Christmas trees getting a bit shaken. It’s quite amusing to see a Formula One driver getting a bit tricked by the little monster, but trust us it’s possible.

And you should know it’s called the Crazy Cart for a reason. Razor’s patented drift system allows the driver to vary the rear caster angles so he can drive and drift forward, backward, sideways, diagonally and everything in between. We’re talking about a 55.2 lb plastic seat capable of speeding up to 12mph while it’s design allows 360 degree plus steering capability for tight turns.

It’s madness fun that simply takes carting to a whole new level and we're seriously considering buying one for ourselves next year. That is if Santa won’t get one for us first, of course.
