Cool to see motorcycles becoming an increasingly popular presence in various movies, and if these are also funny, we couldn't ask for more. Oh wait, we could, of course, but the makers of Zoolander 2 already thought about this. Yes, babes and bikes!
Zoolander 2 will arrive in theaters on February 12, and will have Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, Penelope Cruz plus a whole lot of other big names in the cast. And it will also have bikes to up the pace of the action.
One of the official trailers, that you can watch below, shows us Penelope Cruz donning a tight red leather catsuit and riding an MV Agusta, just like any other "I'm with the FBI/Interpol/whatever" character would, right? Frankly, we couldn't care less about which government agencies send such people into action, but we're glad they do, at least in the movies.
Her attire tends to make us miss the bike, but one can always rewind the movie a bit, isn't that so? Multiple times, even.
Ducati Diavel also seems to have some role to play in Zoolander 2
However, one of the recent photos that made it on Flipboard shows Cruz and Stiller in what appears to be a shot inspired from the movie's crazy atmosphere, and Cruz is astride a Ducati Diavel.
Other bikes appear in the trailer, though not the Diavel, so for the moment, we can only guess where Bologna's muscle bike will fit in, or who will be riding it.
The two main male characters appear to be way too dumb to be able to manhandle the Diavel, which is nowhere near a tame machine. Still, even idiots sometimes prove to have unthinkable resources, and the internet is full of video proof for that.
One thing is sure, however: Zoolander 2 looks like a fun movie littered with so much dumbness we missed from the Idiocracy days, and we can't wait to watch this movie.
