Warning - you are about to read a story that brings multiple layers of sadness (this applied to automotive aficionados, but might also affect non-car guys). We’re talking about an abandoned Lamborghini, so this should be enough to ruin the day, but the details that make this car special take things even further.
First of all, we’re talking about a Diablo here. Sure, they don’t drive as well as more modern Raging Bulls, but an abandoned Gallardo, for instance, would’ve meant a smaller loss, simply because of the production figures.

And this isn’t any Diablo, its a SE30. Sant’Agata Bolognese introduced the Diablo SE30 back in 1994 as a birthday gift for itself when the brand turned 30. The Italians only made 150 units and this is one of those cars. For one thing, you can easily spot one thanks to the bespoke front apron.

The V12 machine was spotted in a parking lot in Austria, with plenty of dust having gathered all over its rectangular-styled body. As you can see in the image above, which showed up on Reddit, people have written all over the car, with the heart drawn on the “hood” being the saddest part of it all.

Of course, as with any car that has sat this long, anybody willing to resurrect it will have quite a job on his or her hands. Forget the fluids and brakes, it’s that V12 engine we’re talking about, as it will need some proper maintenance before its 530 horses can breathe again.
