While the street racing in the adjacent clip is unfortunately real, not virtual, this is an occasion on which the exotics running around the highway have been treated with a video game edit.

Spoiler alert: the action includes a Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster that spins after being attacked with the typical Mario Kart banana. While we won't go any further in order to let the footage do its job, we want to give you a few details about the event.

The action you'll be able to see took place at Dimmit Automotive's 2nd rally. This is an invite-only event where the Tampa Bay (FL) exotic and luxury car dealer gathers its customers and partners for a very, very specific type of bonding activities.

While the first edition drew around 40 fast-paced cars, the second one saw over 40 machines participating, from a BMW i8 to Vipers, McLarens, Porsches, Astons, the obvious Prancing Horses, as well as a Lotus and a Maserati.

The rally started from the parking lot of Dimmit's showroom on Gandy Blvd, Pinellas Park, FL, heading out to Lake Jovita Country Club, about 50 miles north in Dade City.

After assessing the damage that had been done to the cars, which ranged from a Viper's cracked windshield to a Ferrari F12berlinetta's split front lip, everybody went out to enjoy their lavish lunch.

Oh and once you're done viewing the Mario Kart action, you can check out a massive gallery of photos from the spicy event bellow.

PS: you should know the guy who edited the video is the man who bought a Tesla Model S P85D, street raced it against multiple supercars and then passed the car on to his mom as a daily driver. Yep, it's a small world we're living in.
