Renault Kwid Crossover Envisioned in RS Guise is an Impossible Scenario

After being imagined in low-cost Dacia guise, Renault's new mini-SUV destined for the Indian market has finally received a proper RS rendering that spices up the atmosphere.
Sure, any focus Renault Sport might concentrate on such a model is 100 percent useless, and most likely it will never happen in real life because the Kwid is a cheap A-segment SUV that has nothing to do with sporty features.

However, after the car was rendered as a Dacia model, it was only natural that some designers would try to give the Kwid the virtual RS treatment. X-Tomi Design is responsible for the image you see above, but other interpretations of a Kwid RS might pop up shortly.

Looking at the picture, we can spot some of the exterior features made famous by the Renault Megane RS and its smaller brother, the Clio RS. As you might have also noticed, we're talking about the discrete RS badge under the Renault logo, modified grille and redesigned front bumper.

Regarding what's hiding under the hood, one can only dream big, but keeping in mind the standard Renault Kwid features a 0.8-liter engine with yet undisclosed specs, RenaultSport would do better with an engine transplant, if an sportier version was to be ever produced.

On the standard Renault Kwid, the engine forms a duo with a five-speed manual gearbox, for enhanced fuel economy. However, it's hard to think that Indias's fanatic petrolheads will demand an RS version of the Kwid. Moreover, even if they desire such goodies, Renault would probably say 'no' from the very start.
